HIIT stands for "High Intensity Interval Training" is one of the best ways to burn fat and preserve muscle!! It also can be extremely time effective because you are working your body at maximal effort for short bursts of time.
My goal with this blog is to post one HIIT session per week! Stay tuned for more fat burning workouts in the weeks to come
Warm-up: walk 1 minute, run 1 minute for 10 minutes on the treadmill
Circuit 1: 5 rounds
- 2 min max speed (20) on the stair stepper
- 20 burpees with a push-up
Circuit 2: 5 rounds
- 30 seconds mountain climbers (with a band if you have one)
- 30 seconds plank jacks (with a band)
- 10 tricep push-ups
- 20 squat jumps (with a band)
- 20 squat jacks
Finisher: 5 sprints on a track or treadmill (15 seconds off/ 15 seconds on)
ENJOY !! Push yourself and take as few breaks as possible! you can modify the exercises as needed:)
